I'm thrilled to share my story with you in Passports and Parasites. I wear many hats - author, functional medicine practitioner, and passionate explorer of diverse cultures and immersive experiences. My journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to empowering others on their healing journeys, driven by my triumph over Lyme disease and complex chronic illness.
Having lived in captivating places like Baghdad, Beirut, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Lagos, and Curacao, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in a tapestry of cultures. These experiences profoundly influenced my holistic approach to health and wellness.

I’m Vashti and I’ve been where you’re at. I have Hashimoto’s, have dealt with serious hormone imbalances, reactivated EBV, and I’m a Lyme warrior. I get it. You are so tired of being sick. You’ve been to dozens of doctors and have been told that you’re fine, or worse yet it’s all in your head. You may have spent thousands on tests with no answers.
I’ve spent years honing my skills as a health coach, continually expanding my education, so I can help more women just like you. I work through an integrative and functional medicine lens, using a whole-body approach to find the root cause of your health issues.
